Cookies and privacy

There are three different types of cookie:

  • Functional: these are required for a website to work properly. For example, they remember your preferences, such as when it comes to language and font size.
  • Analytical: these track which pages you visit and analyze your click behavior within our website. ISPT has anonymized all analytical cookies so they do not store personal data.
  • Tracking or marketing cookies: these are used for commercial purposes and advertising. ISPT does not use tracking cookies.

We place only functional and analytical cookies. If you do not consent to our placing these cookies, there will be no negative consequences. You can browse around freely on our website.

That being said, this website may include embedded content such as YouTube-videos, tweets, and images. Embedded content behaves in just the same way as if the visitor were visiting the other website. In other words, that website may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content. ISPT has no influence over this, so we advise you to consult the privacy statement of the relevant social-media channel.

You can always check and/or clear cookies. You can read more about this at aboutcookies.org.

Google Analytics and Brevo

We use Google Analytics. Google Analytics provides important statistics about our website, such as the number of visitors, pages visited, and sources of traffic. This information allows us to improve our website and other online communications.

Google Analytics places what are known as analytical cookies. On your computer, the cookie has ‘ispt.eu’ in the file name. Thus, the data is officially our property. We do not use these cookies for behavioral targeting, and you will not be shown ads based on your click behavior.

Schrems II

ISPT is aware of the EU Court of Justice ruling of 16 July 2020 (Schrems II, ECLI:EU:C:2020:559) and of the implications it has for the transmission of personal data. We are currently exploring how best to address this. We value your privacy, and we will endeavor to do all we can to reach an appropriate solution. Once we have done that, we will inform you through this privacy statement. If you have any questions about the processing of your personal data, please contact us.

Microsoft Teams

ISPT offers Microsoft Teams as a trust-based environment in which our participants can work together on groundbreaking innovations. All communications that take place via our Microsoft Teams interface are secure and confidential: each participant receives an invitation to the projects they participate in. They do not have access to other teams.

How long do we keep data for?

ISPT does not keep personal data any longer than is necessary for the purpose it is being held for.

What are your rights when it comes to privacy?

You have certain rights:

  • The right to information and inspection: you can ask us what data on you we have and use.
  • Right of rectification: if we have processed incorrect data, we will be happy to rectify it for you.
  • Right to be forgotten: you can ask us to delete the data we have on you. In most cases, we will comply with this request. However, we may still need to process the data for other purposes such as record-keeping.

In addition, you can:
